The Captain Briggs House Bed and Breakfast
 If you’re planning a trip to Freeport, Maine, why stay in an ordinary hotel when you can enjoy The Captain Briggs House Bed & Breakfast? We provide a special lodging experience with great hospitality – we treat you like family. We are located on a quiet side street, just three blocks from L.L. Bean and within easy walking distance to shopping, dining, and hotel convention centers. The Captain Briggs House is a beautifully restored 1853 shipbuilder’s home, and the rooms are comfortable, bright and cheerful. All rooms have private baths and are air-conditioned and non-smoking. We’ll start your day out right with a hearty full breakfast – at no extra charge.

The Freeport area is a central location and a beautiful rest spot for those family members wishing to visit either the local colleges such as Bates, Bowdoin, Colby or one of the other colleges in Southern Maine or wishing to visit during Campers or Parents Weekends. Many of you come up to see your kids halfway through their experience.
All rooms in the Freeport area fill up fast!! Many of these spots are reserved in the fall or even a year before. We encourage you to book early or even a year in advance. Listed below are some of the dates we know of now.
